POSITION: DELIVERY DRIVER
SUPERVISOR: HDM (HOME DELIVERED MEALS) COORDINATOR
EMPLOYED BY: LIVEWELL SAN DIEGO
WORK SCHEDULE: AS NEEDED/PART TIME MONDAY - FRIDAY; 9:30AM-3:30PM
COMPENSATION: $10/HR (NON-EXEMPT)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Load and deliver Home Delivered Meals for up to 40+ clients. Deliver Congregate Meals to assigned locations. Load and deliever frozen meals. Collect and record donations as delegated. Maintain records, including any route changes, vehicle maintenance, mileage, client scheduling, or any other record keeping as assigned by supervisor. Keep all parts of the vehicle including HOT and COLD compartments, Cab, and exterior in a clean state. HOT and COLD compartments must be cleaned on a daily basis to remove any debris that could be a health hazard.
Attend Nutrition education and staff meetings; perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read/write English, and work as a member of a team. Flexibility, especially during vacations of other staff is necessary. Must have valid California Driver’s license with an excellent driving record; ability to use personal vehicle if needed. Past driving experience is recommended but not necessary. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. Ability to keep and maintain a timed delivery schedule.

POSITION: TRANSPORTAION DRIVER
EMPLOYED BY: LIVEWELL SAN DIEGO
SUPERVISOR: NUTRITION PROGRAM DIRECTOR
WORK SCHEDULE: AS NEEDED/PART TIME
COMPENSATION: $10/HR (NON EXEMPT)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the transportation of seniors to and from their home to attend the congregate nutrition program at Livewell San Diego.
DUTIES: Transport senior lunch participants from their home to the center in the company’s passenger van in the morning hours. Transport senior lunch participants home from the center in the afternoon hours. Maintain records, including a daily log for each participant transported, vehicle maintenance, mileage, or any other record keeping as assigned by supervisor. Plan and schedule each day’s rout to best maximize the number of participants that may utilize the Transportation Program. Clean both outside and inside of van on a regular basis. Once daily deliver congregate meals to the Linda Vista site.
Attend education and staff meetings; perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and write English. Flexibility, especially during vacation or absenteeism of other staff is NECESSARY. Must be able to work independantly with task and client scheduling. Must have a CA Driver’s License with an excellent driving record. Past driving experience recommended. Must be able to life up to 50 lbs.

POSITION: CONTRACTED INSTALLER
SUPERVISOR: PROGRAM DIRECTOR FOR THE SENIOR EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM.
EMPLOYED BY: LIVEWELL SAN DIEGO
WORK SCHEDULE: PART TIME/ AS NEEDED
COMPENSATION: $10 per service call, $35 per installation.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for processing and completing all Installations, Pick-Ups, and Service Orders for the Senior Emergency Alert System (SEAS).
DUTIES: Contractor will schedule and complete work orders assigned through email or fax from the Livewell San Diego Office. Keep organized records of all work orders and receipts. Installing, servicing and removing the alert system from the client’s home. Problem solving. Maintain a clean appearance, and respectful, open minded attitude. Responsible for all equiptment loaned out and maintain and clean equiptment. Attend all orientation meetings and be knowledgable about SEAS product and other programs within Livewell San Diego.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual. Organized. Clean. Patient. Must have a valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation. Background check will be issued. Must have daily access to computer (email) and/or fax machine. Be willing to work in all environments. Perfect for someone who lives in East County, otherwise be willing to complete work orders in that area. Experience working with senior citizens a plus. Good for someone who’s not afraid of electronics, or problem solving in that area.
