Relief to Caregivers
The Adult Social Day Care (ASDC) Program began operation in 1986. ASDC is a state licensed program that can hold 30 clients at any given time. This program serves those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or other memory loss who cannot be left at home alone. ASDC provides respite to caregivers, assuring them that their loved ones will be cared for in a warm, friendly environment where they will be supervised at all times. ASDC allows caregivers to work and not worry about their loved ones during the day, preventing premature placement into long term care facilities.
